Abstract (english)
We measured with high efficiency and resolution a complete set of observables for transfer channels in the 206Pb+ 118Sn system employing a large solid angle magnetic spectrometer, which allowed to study a wide range of internuclear distances via a detailed excitation function. Differential and total cross sections and Q-value distributions have been obtained for a variety of neutron and proton pick-up and stripping channels measured at 1200 MeV. Experimental transfer probabilities for the one- and two-neutron pickup and stripping channels have been extracted as a function of the distance of closest approach.
Methods (english)
Collisions of 206Pb beam on 118Sn target at beam energies 1200, 1090, and 1035 MeV aroudn the Coulomb barrier at INFN-LNL Tandem-ALPI accelerator center. The lighter fragments are detected in the magnetic spectrometer PRISMA of INFN-LNL. The trajectory reconstructions in the magnetic elements of PRISMA have been performed. Kinetic energies, atomic charge and mass have been attributed to lighter reaction partners.
